In Eastern medicine and TCM blood is more than a simple red fluid, it is a vital substance and fundamental to women’s health.
Nourishment of the Blood is more than just a physical fluid. It is a vital, yin-natured essence that physically nourishes the organs, tissues, and skin, while also anchoring the mind/Shen and supporting mental-emotional well-being. Up until now the role of blood has not been recognized nor taught in supporting women’s wellness, and the misunderstanding of the Liver’s capacity for volume and quality of blood in generating true health neglected.
Our Restoring the Blood Chamber is for women who lack energy, vitality, who are navigating perimenopause and menopause, experience insomnia, fatigue, irregular menstruation or amenorrhea, infertility, anxiety and depression, dry hair, skin and nails, poor concentration and memory.
We will explore the foundational pillar of our vitality, the anchor for our spirit (Shen), and the deep reservoir of moisture that keeps our bodies from running dry.
We will also explore the importance of not only “detox” of the Liver or how to clear Qi stagnation, but how we need ample blood to nourish the whole mind, body & spirit.
Important preparation for women moving into Spring and building your blood to carry your health for the year ahead. We will reframe how to travel through Spring and cultivate energy and vitality from the level of the Blood. Important for women also who are in the northern hemisphere moving into Autumn/Fall season.
