The 5 Elements & Cycles online course

Familiarize yourself with the 5 Elements & Cycles in nature and how it affects our inner and outer worlds to live more in harmony & health. This online series of classes is a good introduction and applies the concepts of the 5 Elements combining Chinese Medicine, Macrobiotics and Food Energetics wisdoms & philosophy. 

Over the self-paced 7 video classes learn about the cycles of the day, month, year, seasons, 5 Elements from a big picture approach, the cycles of Food Energetics and how it relates to beans, whole grains, sea vegetables- each another layer of cycles and the elements. We cover a total of 13 different cycles or layers which you can start building awareness of in your daily life. Together with a class on Food Therapy & Food Energetics you can begin to create more balance & resonance of holistic health.

Then there are 5 classes, one per element, where we go deeper into understanding the nature of the element, energy, balanced and imbalanced states, food therapy and Asian functional foods to try, and how food and emotions are correlated. 

We conclude with bonus materials: a seasonal food shopping list and some Yin Yoga inspired movement and stretches that you can do according to each element to keep your Qi and physical body open and flowing.
